The data acquisition unit (the box to which the ForceBoard's sensors are connected) that is delivered with the ForceBoard has a number of avlailable analog and digital inputs / outputs available for anyone who wishes to add any actuators/devices to work hand in hand with the ForceBoard.
The ForceBard's data acquisition unit (electronics box) is connected to the PC via a standard USB cable.
Since the ForceBoard only needs a USB connection, there is no mains voltage (110/220/230V) or batteries to worry about.
The ForceBoard's data acquisition software can be fully customized to suit any specific need a customer might have, the software is really easy to learn and very powerful. Here's a screenshot of the graphical user interface delivered with the ForceBoard:
